Hampton Inn Muskegon - Muskegon Heights

Everything was great.

I didn't like that Booked.net charged $500.00 more than if I had booked it directly by phone at the hotel. I feel that that is a rip off, I will never go through Booked.net again.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly. I like the complimentary breakfast, especially the waffles.

The room felt very clammy, even with the air conditioning running for a while. It was never warm in the room, but even the carpet felt sticky. Maybe it was because there wasn't a fan in the bathroom.

The rooms had a spacious bathroom, fridge, microwave and flat screen TV with HBO. Full breakfast every morning was perfect for the family even picky eaters! Pool was warm and work out facility was perfect. They provided Neutrogena hygiene products which were great quality. FYI: This location was right behind a strip mall and Lakes mall.

Beds were a little too firm and pillows a little too soft

Staff was nice, ease of check in. The rooms were clean and state of the art. Sofa bed was even comfortable for my son.

Booked my room thru Booked.net, the hotel charged me more than the rooms were actually going for the date that I stayed. According to the hotel Booked.net had me set at a higher rate which doesn't make sense. Now I have to go thru a lot of unnecessary bull in order to get a refund.

The breakfast was a nice variety and tasty

Checked in and was told the pool wasn't working. Was told we could cancel our reservation. The desk clerk was arrogant and when I ask about a discount, I was told I could go somewhere else. All hotels were booked in the area

Very impressed with condition of facility. The only thing I would make management aware of is the room carpet is sticky. We had 2 rooms and both were the same. There appears to be soap residue so heavy the carpet is sticky and our feet would stick to our sheets.

The hotel is showing it's age - it could use minor repairs and updates

The facilities were excellent. The front desk people (Drew) was very knowledgable to navigate us to our destination missing all the (traffic). Not only him, but the others also. Very nice breakfast to start our day off.

Missed the turn off, no visible road sign from the highway 31. The city road signs are terrible.

Cozy spot with friendly staff

We stayed for 5 nights and loved the access to I-96. The lobby felt cute and tidy. The bedskirt in our room was super dirty-which was a bummer. Staff were great and they really helped out. Don't miss the breakfast. It had some awesome options!

Everything was simply great. The room we had included satellite TV, climate control, tea and coffee making equipment. Location: the hotel was right by generally nicer stores, resturants, and close to stay parks. We stopped by Tropical Smoothie Cafe for coffee and treats, it was not very far from the venue.

I realize it was bike week but 208.80 for one night in muskegon Is price gouging

I had a fantastic stay! The bathroom design was super spacious, perfect for my cosmetics. The bed was a dream to sleep on, and the breakfast spread was quite impressive too. However, the overall decor was quite outdated compared to the pictures online.

The staff and people generally were really helpful.

Friendly staff and comfy beds, but wi-fi connection was spotty .

The heater in the pool was in hiding or maybe took a vacation! And let's not talk about my surprise taxes-what a laugh!
